Gridiron Glory Exhibit in Appleton Extended to March 31st!

The History Museum at the Castle recently announced the Gridiron Glory exhibit has been extended through March 31, 2019.  The Museum, open Tuesday - Sunday 11:00am-4:00pm (except on major holidays), is just two short blocks from the Franklin Street Inn Bed and Breakfast in downtown Appleton, WI.

Gridiron Glory: The Best of the Pro Football Hall of Fame tells the history of professional football and features interactive experiences, rare artifacts from the Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, and exclusive footage from NFL Films. This is the most extensive and comprehensive touring exhibition featuring America’s most popular sport. Organized by the Pro Football Hall of Fame  in association with NFL Films, the exhibit presents the story of professional football from its humble beginnings in the late 19th century to the cultural phenomenon it is today. The exhibit is a cornerstone event in the multi-year celebration of the Hall of Fame’s 50th anniversary and brings together an extraordinary collection of artifacts, while creating an unforgettable interactive experience.

A "Home Town Tribute" area showcases the Green Bay Packers' legendary players and storied history. This exhibition visits Appleton in conjunction with the Green Bay Packers' 100th anniversary. The blockbuster exhibition features a customized area showcasing Wisconsin's own home team, the Green Bay Packers!
