Hi!  We're the Hansen's.  Keith and Lori to be exact.  We recently bought the Franklin Street Inn from Judy and Ron Halma and started working here on Sept.1.  It's been a whirlwind past month selling a house, buying a business and serving our guests.   Judy has been a tremendous help guiding us through the details of Franklin Street Inn.

We're very excited to begin this next chapter in our lives.  We recently moved from Des Moines, Iowa where we worked in short-term and corporate housing.  Before that Keith was a college administrator and Lori was a speech pathologist for nearly 30 years.  We have two grown children and a "substitute child" dog named Kodi.   He's a 90lb lab mix (but he hasn't quite figured out that he's not human or a lapdog).  🙂   He's not allowed up in the guest area which he is not happy about but is learning to adapt.  Keith is originally from Milwaukee and is very happy to be back in his home state!  Lori is from Ohio but has developed a deep love of Wisconsin!

We are looking forward to the fall foliage.  If you are too, please consider staying with us as you come up to see the glory of Fall!  Also, if you're on the way to Door County, we're on the way.

Well, better get going.  Ocktoberfest and the Packers' game is this coming weekend.  We have a full house and I have many goodies to bake in preparation for our guests!  We hope to meet you in person with your next stay at the Franklin Street Inn!
