Safer Way To Stay – A COVID Update

We hope everyone is well and doing their part to get this pandemic behind us.  Lori and I went through the many phases of COVID.  First, sheltering in place from mid-March – late May 2020.  Then, only traveling and shopping as essential. Now, we continue to wear our masks and practice good hygiene. We have also taken time to reflect, pray, and check on family and friends.

Like most of the hospitality industry, the Franklin Street Inn Bed and Breakfast has been GREATLY affected by the Corona virus (COVID-19). Travel bans, closures and event cancellations have all impacted our business.  Through it all, Lori and I continued to clean and maintain the Inn, work on finance options, increase our personal employment outside the Inn, and work on projects to improve the business and guest experience.   Thanks in part to several return guests,  the Inn is off to a decent start to 2021.  Several of them shared they felt good to stay here because they knew of our cleanliness standards, that they would receive a warm welcome, and believed they could experience a safe stay.

We Look Forward to Hosting YOU!

If you would like to travel now, we hope you will consider staying with us at the Franklin Street Inn. We highly anticipate being back to near normal and full capacity by July, hopefully sooner.  By-the-way, full capacity for us is still only 8-12 guests in our 2 suites and 2 rooms.  If you are traveling to Appleton this summer, we would love to host you. Some Appleton events are currently in the works, including Art-in-the-Park, Mile of Music, and Oktobefest – although these may be a little different than in the past depending on the health status in the area.

Make a reservation soon, or purchase a gift certificate for a future stay.  Doing so will help us continue to maintain and improve our beautiful Victorian Home.  The Franklin Street Inn wishes to not only host guests this year, but also well into the future. You can #Book Direct or purchase a gift certificate by calling us or clicking here.  Our online availability calendar is posted for 2021.  If you have any questions or additional concerns, please call us at 920-209-9711. In the meantime, stay healthy!
