Octoberfest weekend kicks off on September 27 & 28 with License to Cruise, a classic car show, on Friday evening starting at 6 PM. Join 50,000 people walking the Ave seeing about 400 classic cars, live music and great food. Don’t miss this event because it is one of Appleton’s largest car shows.
On Saturday, come to Appleton’s largest block party. Musical entertainment starts as early as 9 AM. Five different stages with bands will play on various side streets off of College Ave. There is something for every music lover. Both local and regional acts will fill the day with rock, country, old time, jazz, swing, and much more.
Arts and Crafts begin at 9 a.m. located on the far east end of College Ave. One hundred local and regional artisans will be selling a wide variety of unique items and original pieces of art.
And, don’t forget about all the great food booths. Over 100 food vendors line a mile of College Ave with tasty treats ranging from traditional brats and burgers to ethnic food and great desserts. Satisfy your hunger and help the local not-for-profits raise money for their organizations.
Franklin Street Inn is located only two blocks from this two day event. Our guests enjoy the convenience of walking to and from the events. No worries about parking either because you can park with us. We hope that you will enjoy the luxury of a bed and breakfast stay with this fun in downtown Appleton.
